How scope is controlled

When work begins: A recurring period begins only when the approved site is live and the customer separately authorizes hosting.
Payment timing: $24.99 per month begins only when the approved site is live and the customer separately authorizes hosting. Domain registration, renewal and other third-party accounts remain customer-paid unless a written order says otherwise.
Revision or extra-work rule: Customer-requested changes are separately scoped; Rivet template or hosting defects are corrected without consulting charges.
Acceptance evidence: HTTPS and domain verification • Reachability check • Snapshot and restore evidence • Approved live site
Cancellation and exit: Cancellation ends service at the paid-through date. Rivet explains shutdown and export steps before service ends; no silent renewal authorization is inferred from an inquiry. A higher renewal price requires at least 30 calendar days written notice and applies only to an eligible future renewal; late notice keeps the old price for that renewal.
Export and retention: On request, Rivet supplies the content and customer-owned asset export within five business days. The export remains available for 30 calendar days after termination. Core customer and rental records follow the core product policy and are not deleted by hosting cancellation; the customer-owned domain remains theirs. Platform code is not exported.

Website launch and hosting are separate charges. Website launch does not silently authorize recurring hosting.
